The HMS/HSDM student council has significantly contributed to the development of our Medical Spanish classes in Boston. Future collaborations between AWLCI and the student council will help give many future healthcare providers access to quality Spanish training.

 

NEW ENGLAND LAW BOSTON FOREIGN LANGUAGE ADVOCACY GROUP

The FLAG team at NESL have collaborated with AWLCI to make foreign language classes available to the student body at their Boston campus. These language classes will help future NESL graduates better serve immigrant populations and facilitate international business.

 

CAMBRIDGE FAMILY & CHILDREN'S SERVICE VOLUNTEER MENTORING PROGRAM

CFCS collaborates with AWLCI to help overcome the language barriers that pose a constant challenge to their mentoring program.

 

CORPORATE ACCOUNTABILITY INTERNATIONAL

Corporate Accountability International works with AWLCI to improve communication through our ESOL, medical Spanish, and TEFL Courses. 

 

BOSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY

Our collaboration with the BPL has given us the opportunity to host more community events than ever before. With their help, we have been able to hold community programs such as Baby Babbles and our Revitalization of Indigenous Languages event.  

 

WUQU' KAWOQ - MAYA HEALTH ALLIANCE

The partnership between Wuqu' Kawoq and AWLCI has led to enlightening community seminar events such as Revitalization of Indigenous Languages - Models from Guatemala and Maya Guatemala - The Intersection of Language, Culture and Medicine. 

 

American College of Nurse-Midwives

The ACNM and AWLCI have recently teamed up to develop and provide a medical Spanish training course for local nurse-midwives. Future collaborations between the ACNM and AWLCI will allow nurse-midwives of the ACNM to expand their helping hand in women’s health and pregnancy to Spanish speaking communities, locally and internationally.
